life is good. a new job more or less in the bag, back in the litho studio, drawing for bathtub shitter again, screenprinting on $4 windbreakers, and there is a 3 day totally free bluegrass festival starting tomorrow.

just got home after beers at a bigfoot themed bar and watching my roommate and his friend girl freestyle in spanish with a guy vending bacon wrapped hot dogs. i was like "i'm into hank williams"

my new litho is going to be a jello horse stampeding through a mess of dogwood blossoms and air compressors.

hey guys
i've spent all summer living with my parents, working a lot, and filling up a sketchbook. it's done cover to cover now, some of it i like, some of it i don't. but i'll be back in a studio come september and i promise i'll have something to show for it.

how is everybody doing?

it's time to get the lead out. i'm going to try and focus more on making bigger numbers of less polished drawings. it's less stressful this way and i'm sure it'll turn into something bigger regardless.

i'm making a new oekaki board if anyone is interested. this is a post from it but i'm waiting until i get it all dolled up to post the link.

Whispering Pines
(higher resolution)

This is a 16" square lithograph that will be in a show called Into the Mouth of the Wolf at Lloyd Dobler Gallery out in Chicago. This Friday, March 14th, 6-10pm. I'll not be able to make it but anyone in the area should surely go check it out. My old pal Matthew Woodson has a beautiful piece in here too, and it'll feature a soundtrack by Xela.

Also, i haven't posted in this thing in a while but a few weeks ago a bunch of you got an add from username: shungalives. That's Aaron K and he's going to save the human race so check it out.

Life has been really good to me lately.

new spacetrash is almost go. i leave for san francisco soon and i need a lot of things from my hard drive out there to finish the job. i've decided to put a pretty big amount 2003-5⅔ era spacetrash up on it. i used to really resent my old work but i'm getting back into it, which might be obvious.

i feel kind of confused these days as to where exactly my home is. all i know is it will be nice to have things like karaoke and a lithography studio and friends again.
me and aaron k. have been goofing around recording things on his 4 track. i'll post some of it.

the bad news is that i somehow managed to lose everything from my site again (my fault entirely)

the other bad news is that my old drive crashed (old news but still bad)

the third bit of bad news is that my san francisco drive is not with me right now
