Now you can get famous as a blogger. And looking at all these fashion blogs wants me to spend spend spend. The Urban Outfitters blog looks so cute but they're so evil and owned by this huge conglomerate of a company that panders poorly made products to unsuspecting (or, maybe even worse? suspecting and ignorant buyers). In any case, let me document some of my material desires. It just happens to be that I "chose" the womb I was to be born from and it was a womb of the poor.
1) Dolce Vita ankle boots. The site uses flash so I can't fucking put the image in here. But look how soft that leather is...and those nice fleshy black laces...
2) Victoria's Secret Lace Stirrup leggings. Also flash. But...stirrups and lace??
3) From Forever21
4) And a $400 poncho from somewhere. I forget where. |

Don't think this is the official video, not too much of it is interesting, sorry whoever made it, but this song is incredible. I'm just really getting into them again. |

Over at the Electric Ant blog, a bunch of people drew the awesome Ting & Terng from Hellen Jo’s comic, Jin & Jam. Here’s an extra drawing I did as I was preparing to draw the conjoined duo. Check out the blog to see more!

I might as well blog this, since I drew it.
This is a drawing of Aaron Ancheta's characters, Marilyn Finch and Jesse, from a comic in his head that I hope he draws one day.
No I do not have time to draw your characters sorry. This is the last non-Scott Pilgrim thing I will draw all year, I guarantee it. |

[Nov. 10th, 2009|10:15 pm] |
I've been driving a taxi about as long as I've been in this band. We have Abe on drums and Barret on guitar/vox, myself on guitar/vox. 5 songs are finished, we've been playing together 8 months or so. A lot of work goes into our writing process, honest criticism, and almost infinite changes and adjustments. We are playing our first show this month. I'm glad to be in this, it's an ecclectic blend of classic rock that touches on the spiritual side???

What's going on:
Nothing
I will be working on this book for the foreseeable future. The cover is in progress and I'm thinking it (and the title) will be publicized sometime in December. (Hint: the title has "Scott Pilgrim" in it and the cover has Scott Pilgrim on it)
We got a dog over the summer. You may have noticed me only posting dumb ol' dog pictures. Her name is Midge and she is part American Eskimo, part Pomeranian. I'm not sure which parts. She looks more like an Eskimo -- she's not insanely poofy like a Pom, but she has black and white spots (Eskimos are all-white).
So that's what's up. I got a dog and I'm drawing comics. I did a quick website drawing, mostly 'cause I took a picture over the weekend that I thought would work well on the website, and I drew a little wacom doodle using brushes that I downloaded the other day from this wonderful person.
Updates here will continue to be infrequent, but I'm usually found babbling on twitter. |

Today, one of my teachers said "totally geeked out" and another one compared Lucy Lippard to Darth Vader. My best friend is moving back east from California before the year is over and I'm starting to get really stoked. Baltimore on New Years Eve! |
